game stop left me a message last night telling me that my copy of gt4 should be available this evening!!! cant wait to pick it up. :D :smokem:

i hope its as good as the game i have been playing lately, i think the game is called toca racing simulator or something i cant remember, this game is awesome and very realistic. has anybody played it?

i'm going to wait for forza motorsports for xbox. not going to buy a game without online play.

amazing games arent good enough to be played 1 player?
gt3 survived without it.

One of the License tests for the B license uses a new GTi... I'm thinking they delayed the release because they couldn't show cars before they debuted in the "real" world.

also, there is LAN connectivity but I dunno about online play

Can't tell you for sure yet. I have an OLD ps2 (got it at midnight the day it came out) so I've had issues with DVDs in the past and dunno if the display glitches I ran across today. On a few - 3 or more - occasions the image on the screen looked like every other line dropped off and you had this fuzzy image.

Aside from that, the game play is the usual with the backgrounds and people being more detailed and moving in some in instances. The renderings of the cars are nice, the physics are good, the interface has a totally different look - and it's bigger (the map), Aside from that I've only completed the B and A licenses and gotten to drive the test cars. I haven't started in a race series but at the end of the B license tests you get a VW polo or similar tiny VW hatch.

If you liked GT3 you're gonna like GT4 - the rallying is dope.
