Ok first my sub wouldnt stop hitting so i replaced my amp... then it had the same issue when ever i went over halfway on my volume, just non stop hitting even with the radio off. But if I pulled the ebrake the amp would like shut off it seems. I adjust some settings on the amp and the constant hitting went away but when i park and pull up my ebrake there a pop sound and the volume drops.

Sounds like either a very bad ground. Or somehow the power is tapping or crossing the path of your e-brake line. If the amp is constantly hitting, usually the amp will only relay power to the sub if it receives a signal. Is it hitting (thump thump), or is it just groaning?

sounds like a wiring problem.
edit i speak from experience hahah my buddy wired his own truck and the same thing happened except it was a constant low bass tone. he got it re-wired professionally

thanks... doesn't make me feel the best the previous owner already had the car wired... but guess I'll rip it all out next month and take out the factory amp... and just redo the whole thing myself. (I'm cheap)

check the remote wire in the back of your deck and the ground from your deck and amp they should have separate grounds

That's definitely a bad ground . . . humming is the most common issue.
But since his is actually hitting, there is a major connection problem. I would definitely just disconnect everything and start over.
