I dont know where to go to get shi% installed here except group 5 and pan... Group 5 costs a grip and PAN well i went to them to have spings installed..they were less than satisfactory at VW in my point of view. they say than can do it, but you could do a better job your damn self and from my paast experience they cant be trusted...But i am no one to judge anyone i just need a place where my ride is safe and is worthy of the Vdub....

I wasn't very helpful before =P playing CSS... anyway

Group5 = reputable shop that has plenty of european car experience. For installs on VW suspension it's either them or other fellow enthuasiasts who have experience. Otherwise Mike Kim of Pure Motorsport

I have this same thread going on Vortex. I haven't had any solid responses. I also had my springs put in at Pan a few years ago. Super sketchy. I sat for four hours while I heard the dude banging away on my front suspension. He also forgot to put the rear bushings in, so my suspension knocks when I hit a bump. When I got shocks from Autotech, they recommended a shop in Huntington to install them that was awesome. Sorry, I don't remember the name, but I'm sure that Autotech does. :) Maybe there is a void that needs to be filled here in San Diego. If I only had a lot of money...

Yea I've had a smiliar experience with PAN. Won't go back to them ever.

Try these Places:
DML MOTORSPORTS
3760 Hancock St # F
San Diego, CA
(619) 295-0658

OR

German Werks
(619) 425-2626
1409 Broadway # 101
Chula Vista, CA

Both are good shops with quality installation, IMO.

I think you might be talking about VW Specialties...

But I would say go to Group 5 for local shops. They are well worth the money, and they are a trusted source for parts/installation. I'd rather save up and pay extra for quality goods/services then get a deal that ends up having to be replaced/fixed by somebody else later down the road.

And plenty of SCE members have been customers of Group5 for a long time.

I had them put my Neuspeed springs and Mintex pads on. They forgot to put snap the spring clips back on the front brakes. I don't think they bedded the brakes either since they are now squeeking like crazy.
Also, they said they could align after spring install. However, upon pick up they let me know that they could only do front align not four wheel.

Like I said... Dissapointed.
