Can anyone help me out with this? I just noticed my car start to 'hiccup' when accelerating going from 1st to 2nd gear. Meaning it jerks a li'l before it gets up to a higher RPM before it has a smooth acceleration. Could it be the fuel pump is what's causing the 'hiccup'? Thanks gang!

I had an older V8 that did that, it turned out to be a bad fuel filter and crap was in the lines. You could try that before swapping out the pump?

^^^that's what a buddy of mine told me when I told him about the problem. I will try that first before swapping the pump. BTW, does anyone know what the cost would be for all these parts? Thanks!

Fuel filters are usually cheap, like $15 or so...

is it doing it when you have a low tank or all the time, this was happening in my C rado and it was when the tank was low the the filter on the pump is sucking up shit out of the btm ot the tank. or if thats not it just change the line filters it easy. but before you do un plug the lines get some bic pens to stick in the lines or you will be swimming in gas.

^^It happens all the time. Also, when I start up the car, the whole car vibrates, is it safe to assume again that it's the fuel pump/filter causing the shaking?

The filter wouldn't just unclogg for every other gear or higher rpms.
It would be doing it in everygear and rpm.
Does it happen all the time in 1st gear? Has it just been doing it latley?

Might be your pump, might me your O2, might me a vac. leak, it could also be your water temp senser or faulty computer or air meter. Are you useing super cold plugs? That might be makeing you run rich at idle and when you take off it'll still be rich for acouple rpms makeing you stumble.

^^^I had the plugs changed not but a month or so ago, and I am using Bosch Super Platinums (sorry, too technical for me to remember). I'll note all the comments here and find out what the issue is. Gonna try and make some time to take it to the shop and have it looked over. It's a VR6 motor BTW. Thanks gang!!
