airbag light is on??? again???

just got home from work and the freakin airbag light is on. this is the second time this light went on. i took it to the dealership last time, about 4-6 months ago and they replaced the seatbelt buckle??? (where you put the seatbelt into) it took them close to 5 days to replace the part. for some odd reason they didn't have the part or they had to order out for it and it was sent to the wrong dealership or something. should i take it in and let them know this is the second time this light has come on. hey steve, can you vag my car again?

Ever put anything in your passenger seat?

Likely totally different, but my mom's civic airbag light would go on (and stay on); the dealer told us it was related to a sensor in the seat going off when putting an object other than a person in the passenger seat. We stopped doing that, and after getting it reset the problem (to my knowledge) was fixed.

do you have a sound system? i remember in my old GTi that happened when i blew the voltage regulator. supposedly its a common thing for VW's

no system, stock, i've been meaning to put in the amp and 2 12" subs in the back. as far as the passenger seat, i usually put my backpack and xbox in the front for the past 4-5 months (halo2 at work).

but no worries, i called up the dealership and they said i was still under warrenty. 47,XXX miles on the car too. :tup: im debating weither or not to get the 40k check up now since i haven't done it. $500 for it too. :(

to tell you the truth.. dont waste ur time with the 40k check up...
My car is at 183k now.. I take care of most if not all my mantiance.
500 bucks is a waste of money if u know knew what they did for the 40k
check up.

I had mine VAG'd courtesy of Mike way back in the summer. Hasn't come on since. Although I do have an ABS light which has been on for almost a year now. Is that worth getting cleared too? It annoys me 'cuz I wanna drive w/ no lights inside on, except in the dash gauges.

at one time i had the airbag, the abs and the engine light on.. the first time i cleared my codes, only the engine and the airbag came back... the abs has never returned
