Tomorrow, Sunday Aug 1, is our first VW outing now that we are Oregonians.

"Sunday (8/1) Rose City Bug-in: If it's Volkswagen, it's at PIR this Sunday, complete with drag racing, swap meet and car show. It's the biggest VW Bash in the Northwest. Gates open 8:30 a.m at the Porland International Raceway. (I-5, exit 306B, 1940 N. Victory Blvd., Portland OR)"

Net, I wish you could be there....lots and lots of drag racing of vw bugs, etc. It's going to be very very strange to go to a vw event without everyone else there. I know I'll be looking for Greenwing and Dan and Tony and everyone else too....I'll take lots of photos for you guys :-)

I didn't know you moved up to oregon!! damn, i need to check the board more often...

Waterwagens was today, up in seattle, it's almost as big as ND and bigger than Dubwars. VERY dope show... but i guess you guys probably missed it.

Portland is a fun town! You'll like it. Hit me up if you want suggestions on places to go and things to do.

If by "like socal" you mean slow as hell, then yes, it's a lot like socal.
