Towing from Anaheim to Walnut/Pomona

Need to get a car with a blown HG from Anaheim to Walnut/Pomona ... anyone know anybody who'll do it for a reasonable price?

I'd be looking at $80 for a regular AAA tow anyways, so if anyone has AAA Mileage Plus and doesn't mind giving up a tow, that could work too, and I'd just pay you the $$$ that would have cost me otherwise for it.

dont know how much it would cost and if you have acces to a tow pig but have you tried renting a trailer???

Alas, my tow car needs a fuel pump (at least) ... so such is out of the question. If I had to rent the truck, then the amount gets to almost as much as if I did the AAA + mile overage.

Got it flatbed earlier today by "Moose is Towing" in Rowland Heights. $70 - fair enough price in my book, and more importantly, he actually cares enough on where to hookup the chains and all.

-- Kane ... unlike another towing outfit we passed on the street, which had the giant hooks on the alloy rims on a Explorer (which was on the flatbed), and a Porsche Carrera with the drive wheels on the ground, on the lift. I'm not sure where the logic was in on that one ...

its a matter of the direction of the car. You dont want it too turn on you.

The lack of logic in question, though, is why is a POS Explorer on the Flatbed, and a nice Carrera on the lift.

It is OK to tow with front wheels on the ground. All they do is strap the steering wheel. BTDT with my other car.

There is a fair amount of drivers who dont take the time or dont like doing such. It isnt something i have to worry about.
