Picked him up at a animal shelter up in Carlsbad. He's great with other dogs....cats too even.

:tup: Awsome dogs guys i love pits, but a buddy of mine just moved back from the eastcoast and he brought his 1 year old America Staffordshire
terrior and omg i fell in love with the dog their larger then pits and way stockier(without weights and dog roids) and the best thing is he said its the best dog hes had by far has no anger issues like a pit, great with kids and protective of everyone around him and the dog is badass ill try to get some picks of his dog but for now here is an idea of what they look like

not bad, i dont understand why people are so afraid of dogs. either way i'm not fond of the bulldog/pit look its like owning a big dog in a small body...like a buff chihuahua.

Well idk about who will be the chew toy....lol he just emailed me some picks of his dog. the picks were takin back east so enjoy. She is a beautiful dog by the way, but like i said Amstaffs' are bigger and stronger out of all the terriors. hes a big boy his head is huge and he has the neck to suport his bite, something some pits lack but they make up for with lock jaw.:tup:

Thanks....yeah he is great company so far.

Working on training the last few days has been a real joy. He is entirely focused on me when in the house (I do keep him as an inside dog).

He is housebroken, "sit"s, "go home" to let him know we are done being outside, "bed" to have him lay down in his designated area. :tup:

Working with him still on a few other behaviors but I've only had him for 4 and a half days now.

Congrats on rescuing. It's nice to think that she went from a concrete floor to a nice warm dog bed. She looks like a sweet dog. You should enter her into agility or lure coursing or something off-the-wall. Just to be different.

Definitely a he, not a she. I'm working with him on some basics right now...but more to come in later days. So far he has been a real pleasure.
