I am on Starlight Glen. I have an 03 Platnium Grey GLI with a whole lot of EIP stage II Turbo 24v VR6 gear just waiting to be installed! Who did your body work? Really nice!! Stop buy sometime, also thier is a guy named Shawn on the hill that just purchased an 04 Plat GLI lookin to tune it a bit, he might be interested in your wheels. He was looking at Kinesis last I talked with him.

Joe at Wetworks Garage in Stanton, CA did all the bodywork. I have seen you around the neighborhood. My house is the corner house on Dawn View Glen, dude when you get that turbo installed I want to go for a ride! I know how much power that makes. I went with VF's kit fro the reliability because I drive this car every day to and from Miramar. I'll sell my wheels (no tires) to you or your buddy for 2400 if you are still interested. How much clearance do you have with your BBK?

cartist

Between three and four business cards. They clear perfectly, I have never had a problem.

[dude when you get that turbo installed I want to go for a ride!

Sounds good, I am just waiting for the diff, clutch and flywheel to come in so I can do it all at once.

What parts can you hook up?

I will let Sean know about the wheels; I am happy with mine as of know. (4th set)

Wouldn't mind a ride in yours as well, thought you were a 1.8t. I think between you and me we will have two of the top 5 hp VW's in SoCal. :smokem:

Are you still looking for a clutch, flywheel, and diff or have you found them already? We could start there.

I am waiting on an over 90 day back order for a Peloquin diff, ceramic clutch and lightend fly wheel from EIP. If you can work a deal, I think I can unwind my order but my gear is supposed to ship any day now.

Good taste. It would be more beneficial to you to wait for that order, if you continue to have problems with vendors let me know and I will see what I can do. Have you researched those products? Have you thought about quaiffe?

Have you researched those products? Have you thought about Quaiffe?

Yes, the clutch I would prefer to have the Unorthodox Racing one but EIP swears by theirs and the price was right so I went for it.

As for Quaiffe, that was my original choice but my decision changed after talking with the Dahl back group and Rich at EIP. Both groups said they had problems with Quaiffe on the high horse MKIV's that was cured by the Peloquin.

I was told that Quaiffe is the best for almost all other VW platforms.

Well they both know their stuff better than I so it sounds like that is the setup you should go for. Let me know when your done, or if you know anyone that needs parts hit me up.

Can you source Brembo Breaks at a good price? I need a pair of 15" Drilled rotor rings, four piston calipers, hardware, two drilled rear Boxster rotors and pads. I can get a decent deal through Jamie at Race Technologies but wondered if you can do better?

I am asking 2400 + shipping costs without tires and 2800 with new Toyo Proxes 4 tires. I have the reciepts to prove I spent over 900 on the tires, less than a month ago. I would prefer to sell the wheels and tires together so they don't get scratched when I have to dismount them to sell.
