I have a set or 2. If you want, you can come come pick them up Saturday morning.

i second this... if the front side is even open by saturday i would avoid going that way by all cost.. Take the back way if anything!! I made that mistake last season after it snowed.. going up the front, well trying to go up the front.. that is.

All roads were closed today and only the back way up is open tomorrow with chains being put on at 3500 feet. you will have to aim to be hitting the base of the mtn at 6am due to the traffic.

Hmmm... trying to decide to take Lucerne Valley or "the front way" tomorrow. Monday AM up the mtn shouldnt be too packed, right!?!?!

tomorrow i would take the 330(front way) and roads should be good. chains will be required around running springs i think.

Grrr... they closed all roads to Bear (except for residents) and actually closed Bear Mtn (only Summit was open). So we went to Baldy instead. Pretty cool, but I prefer Bear. We'll be heading up there another day though, since we already purchased our passes!
