This hint at the 2008 Scion xB replacement sets lofty goals for the next-generation youth mover. Riding on a new platform with a 2.4-liter four, the t2B has what Scion chief Jim Farley calls a “reverse trapezoidal shape,” wider at the top of the body and tapering down. It has a forward-control style gearshift for its automatic trans, a single high-density front foglamp, 20-inch alloys, a wide-screen back window, high beltline, and no door handles. The passenger side has a large, single, remote control sliding door and the driver’s side has suicide doors. The interior is pie-in-the-sky, with a three-level “electronic ticker-tape” instrument panel, rear projection screen and dashtop iPod/MP3 dock. Toyota’s CALTY designers also built 1:4 scale models of coupe and pickup versions. Farley says the three side doors could be economically feasible at a price a few hundred dollars higher than the current xB.

Hey, what do you know? I like this better than the new GTI too, lol. If they don't change it too much, that thing could be tight. I wish they came with engine options though.

Hey Mel, do you have anything on that Ford Gorilla concept. That thing looked cool too. Like a little Brinks truck. I want mine w/bulletproof glass and a G-Unit logo. LMAO.

Also would've been cool if they could have had those doors on both sides. That way you could cap haters on both sides of the street then smash out.
