Just for kicks ...
How many times have you been pulled over? Obviously our age will have something to do with it, but just curious to see.
No way to integrate a ratio option of citations in relation to stops, but that's entirely subject to the circumstances / officer etc.
Last nite I got stopped for my first time ever, although not legitimately - I was at work (police department), driving a beat Altima and picking up some food, when a county unit that had changed direction just to stalk me lit me up ... the d00d asked me who I was working for and why I was driving a Metro vehicle with Govt plates (car must have been Metro in the past), then let me go.
Otherwise, never been stopped in my life yet :D suckaz ... [not that I break the law much ... but I roll stop signs and speed in curves my fair share].
Feel free to post up any interesting stories.
From the Vortex:
who wants to hear a funny story ?
I was riding with a friend of mine. He got pulled over. So the officer asks his routing questions..and then "Is there anything in the car i should know about?"
My friend replies "I have donuts in the back seats".
- He got a ticket.

In a lifetime?
In a driving career?
In the last year?
On this license?
With this car?

went through a stop sign going 65 mph on a 30 mph road....:smokem:
saw the cop sitting there pulled over before she could turn the corner and only ticketed me for going through the stop sign and not for the speeding....
also took her a good 8 counts to get to me prolly kuz her car was off or was parked...
im currently fighting it through written declaration!

You went through a stop sign at over twice the posted limit, and it's the cop's fault that your insurance is getting raised?
Can someone explain this to me?

It's the man keeping him down. Obviously they artificially lowered the speed limit and put a stop sign where it wasn't needed just to entrap good citizens like him.

in my younger immature days got a speeding ticket on the 5 from SD to LA-----i was doing 140 in my mk3 gti (i was trying to get it to 160 (very dumb now that i look back on it).........got pulled over for doing 80 as i saw the cops getting on the onramp (vr6 brakes got balls)..........field sobriety test/search of the car (i was sober 2am driving)
got one for no seatbelt when i had my truck in h.s. had guns drawn on me and all (guess i looked like a hood)
ive had random stops with no tickets (do i think it has something to do with the car, yes)

i can't even count how many times i've been pulled over. didn't always get tickets, but usually got harassed. the common question seemed to be whether it was my car or not. whatever. have gotten a lot of fix-it tickets too.

Got stopped by the Louisiana State Police once. Asked me all kinds of questions about where I've been, what airlines I flew, where I was going, etc etc. I was eventually let off.
For the record: Never drive on I-10 between New Orleans and Houston with a rental car or car with commercial plates. That's an instant pull over almost every time since those are usually tell-tale signs of drug trafficing. I think my beautiful girlfriend saved me on this one since she looks so sweet.

I saw a news report about that stretch of highway. the news crew rented a car and drove it threw it.. and got pulld over twice!
this was about 5 years ago when they did that report.. but i can bet its still going one till this day.

I average getting pulled over about 2-4 times a year since I've been driving (I'm 27) and I talk my way out of them about 1/2 the time :D
