Since VW is already going out on a limb with things like the R32, Toureg and Phaeton, why don't they make a serious baja beetle? That'd be a lot more popular than the Phaeton for sure.

Then again, the 'original' Baja Bugs weren't factory, but some sort of kit I heard?
