So, don't buy aftermarket tie rods. I just installed these less than a year ago in september 2009 and they have fallen apart.
Driver side:

Instead, go with the dealership version with the friendly MB star stamp:

Avoid weirdo brand stamps like this:

I've put less than 7000 miles on these tie rods since I installed them, and they have gone to shit. The ball joints have tons of play in them.
Spend the extra on genuine parts for these, worth it.
