yesterday i got my boost and oil temp gauges, and A-pillar pod for them, and today i got my haldex controller. yay. now.. all i need is my car.
it's at the dealer again, because last week when i got the oil changed and tires rotated they did something wrong and split one my drivers side CV boots. i found out on saturday when i went to take off my wheels to polish them. the inside of my front drivers wheel was completely covered in grease. took me an hour to clean that wheel alone. grrrrrr

Nice! That haldex controller really makes me wish my car was quattro.
I still have my Schwing vent rings waiting to go in but I need to get some new gauges first.
I just picked up my new samco from UPS and I'm waiting on my clear corners to ship.
We need some more TTs in socaleuro to talk to about mods.

We need some more TTs in socaleuro to talk to about mods.the boost gauge is mechanical, and the oil temp is electric. do you know how to hook them up and route the wiring through the a-pillar?

Boost gauge is easy... the oil temp is kinda a pain because you have to find a place for the sensor.
As for routing, you can get the wires and tubing through one of the existing holes in the firewall and then right up the a-pillar. Its not too difficult at all.

no sensor came with it. instructions say that you connect it to an already exsisting sender unit...

i'm having my gauge pod professionally installed by California Fabworks. they are going to mold the pod to my A-pillar and cover it with the same material that covers my A-pillar now.. the guy said that it would look "factory" when he was done.
we'll see. for $265, i have extremely high hopes that it'll look f'n great.
