I am going to attempt to replace the drivers side lower front control arm (the one that looks like a B-wing starfighter :D ) and would like to know if I should be replacing anything else other than the arm itself? I am hoping to reuse the bolts but would like to know from anyone else that may have experience in this matter. Also would I need to have an alignment done afterwards?

I thought about buying the ecstuning kit for my control arms, when i make right turns(not tight ones) at speed my front end feels weird and makes noises(becomes really loose), especially going up North torrey pines hill, it gets to the point where i dont trust my cars handling

let me break it down, I changed my control arms last month and I did an alignment on them, I suggest you go with the factory control arms for about $139 I paid, I thought about gettin them from ECS, but no, I rather put in an extra $30 for the factory, it wells worth it.

if yer gonna replace one control arm, replace its twin...when i replaced my passanger side lower control arm (and not the driver), even after the alignment, the car pulled to the right due to a newer arm and such...

YIN

1999.5 w/ ~65,000 miles, I changed it out last week everything was going well until I tried to pop out the ball joint. But eventually I got it with some friendly help from Kragen. I had the passenger side front lower comtrol arm changed @ 51,000 miles at the dealer.

Yeah....I just looked at that. I think I'm gonna need to be doing my real soon. Did you ever get all the other stuff installed on your car?
