Sorry I'm late. I know we started a new topic, but here are my light pics. All pics were taken with an Olympus C-50. The TV shots were taken off a Phillips 42" plasma. The only other thing I used was a small flashlight, which projects a "spot" with well defined edges. It seems like a weird detail now, but you'll see more of that later on.

I guess I'll start with the GT4 shots. It's just a picture of my TV screen, while playing GT4. I used the night picture setting and a tripod, but I had to keep the car steady, so the scene would blur, but the car would not. Is that not the dorkiest thing you've ever seen? I tried to overcome this by using an RS6 and Justin B's S4. (I haven't cropped anything, so I don't know if they will look like blurry screenshots, or if they will include the edges of the TV)

You know what these lights are...

OK, getting a little more artsy...
Have you seen these tapestries? It's hard to see in the first pic, but it's a jar of fireflies. I lit it up for the second picture.

I'll do more in another post.

The only orchid that we have been able to keep alive...of course, we've only had it for a week.

These were fun. I "wrote with light" using the flashlight. But I got more than I bargained for, with the reflection off the TV making a second image. Kind of eerie...
(but what do you think I had on MY mind? )

OK, I think this is it. It's just crystal, marbles and that flashlight. (I think it's an Inova or something like that)

I took a few of the car, but they all came out like ass, so I'll have to work on those.
I hope you enjoyed these.

The camera was set on the night setting, on a tripod. I had to do it a bunch of times, to get the timing right and to get the S and the 4 to be separate. I love the double image, though. It was completely unintentional.
For the last ones, the flashlight is actually inside the candle holder. For the last one, the flashlight lens is sitting on top of one of the marbles. That's why it's all blue.

Thanks Chris. By the way, my newcar is out in the far lot across from 41. It's probably the only water-spotted silver S4 out there.
I'm surprised that no one has said anything about the 40 second 1/4 mile in one of the GT4 pics. It took me a while to set up for the picture.
