Still using a site that doesn't allow me to post photos here, so bare with me.

Here's my contribution:

Feel free to post the photo for me in this thread.

Shot w/ a Canon Elan IIe/ Tamron glass, back in the day of 35mm film.

Scala b&w slide film. It's an old slide scan, so quality isn't the greatest. But you guys get the jist.

Girl is just a stranger on the bus.

How does it portray "Empty" though?

It's a girl alone on a bus, looking like she's missing something, or someone. Maybe she was just dumped by a guy with an RS6. Maybe her dog died. Maybe she just rode the bus all the way to Wendy's on Poway Road and found out that it burned down. That's a pretty fuckin empty feeling.

The way I saw it, she looked pretty lonely sitting in that bus by herself.

Webster defines "empty" as "marked by the absence of human life, activity, or comfort"

It's really a personal interpretation. The topic said, "be creative". Thanks AAA

I thought this one was too obvious. I cropped it out of a dash photo of my GTI.

I liked em both.

The less you explain the more the picture says.

Like children, Art doesn't come with instructions.

It just is.

Ha Ha! I like the second one. I have been keeping my eyes open for "emptiness," but that one didn't even dawn on me as I pulled into Chevron, this morning. That's pretty good.

What's more empty than a person sitting alone on mass transit?

I like it because even if I didn't know that the topic was "Empty", I would still get there eventually.

Define "recycling"

I was standing outside St. Paul's Cathedral in London.

I was originally trying to capture the cathedral, then this bus drove by.

It was one of those perfect moments when you're lucky enough to have a camera in hand.

Thanks for the compliments.

still no other threads on "empty"

I think recycling means it's a picture you took before the topic was announced. I'm working on "Empty", give me a break.

Gotcha. Fair enough.

I just thought they went well with the topic.
