Hey guys, I'm new to the forums and the area. Just moved here from the east coast! But, I recently bought a 2004 Jetta GLI with about 62k miles on it. This past week it's been overheating and idling kind of rough but not too bad. So after reading up online I've came to the conclusion that it's most likely the water pump seeings how the previous owner never changed it when it hit the 60k mark. So I was wondering if anyone knows a good shop in the OC area that would be able to change it at a REASONABLE PRICE. Also, I'm wondering if it would be cheaper if I bought the part and had the shop just install it? I know a dealer charges over a grand to do it so I was looking for a local shop or something like that. Thanks!
