Just like last year, this is our most popular drive of the year, definitely not one to miss. In the past we've attracted up 60+ cars once people started hearing about how fun the routes are, and we even change it up every year just to make it more interesting. The Route this year is much more exciting and challenging in terms of its dynamics. The Route provides a varied terrian with challenging hairpins and turns, twists, and substantial scenic views. Furthermore, the route is much longer with minimal stops for regrouping, including our midway stopping point at the Harrah's Casino in Rincon.

All Julian participants must rsvp by April 30th, 2005 to receive lunch. SCC Audi is requiring a deposit of $18.00 per/person (you do not have to be a member) including guests who attend (children are welcome, 12 and under are FREE) in order to participate in the luncheon. special presentation following the lunch. You do not want to miss it! Lunch will be at Wynola Pizza which will consist of all you can eat gourmet pizza along with salads, drinks, and dessert.

Pics from last year...

*bump*

Not so spirited I think... there will probably be a group of Darwins that take off first bAllAring down the road, leaving bodies and car parts and skid marks in their dust, followed by most of us in the middle pack- still want to be able to have a latte and not spill it all over ourselves, but still accelerate when warranted :D, then the wagons with kiddies at the tail end of the caravan.

Just my thoughts. I've done a ton of NorCal drives, but only one SoCal one... dividing ourselves by intended speed and lack of brain cells to slow down at blind curves is a pretty good way to do it, but I'm not in charge.

C'mon, come OUT and show UP and DRIVE! :smokem: Some of us chitchatted it up last night at Fuzion... if the weather is variable then the slowpoke campers hopefully stay home, leaving clearer roads for us!

:-) Christine

Man, that was a nice Audi detailing kit you got. I wanted it! Good job. I guess they thought Quattrogirl's widebody supercharged A4 wasn't as nice as yours. =)
