there's one called 'the photoshop WOW book' that i've been meaning to pick up, there are quite alot of books on photoshop. any book store will have alot of the major ones.
i've had training in Photoshop 4 back @ SDSU, back when i had to develop my own film, to making my own black and white prints. all before the digital age...lol dang im old...im trying to re-train myself in most of the mainstream graphic programs, photoshop, illustrator, quarkxpress, and a couple web design programs. i've kinda run into a brick wall, too much distraction, i can't stay focused, and work...ehhh

3 HOURS!!! Wow!
I used "trace edges" in Photoshop and seconds later you get this.

You could then clean it up a lil' if you wanted, but sure was faster.
If you guys wanna get your socks blown off, go to one of these Photoshop seminars! Plus you'll learn a lot.

Hope that helps.

might of been faster, but the end result is still a raster image. illustrator is vector based, and once the file is completed, can be printed or scaled to any resolution with no loss whatsoever.
besides, with a little practice, art will be able to do it much faster than 3 hours!

True, all depends on what you want it for. Right?
