I have owned this car for 6 years. I am the original owner.
It had 5,800 miles on it when we bought
We have driven this car mostly highway to/from work but it has also taken us on many long road trips as well, including a 7,000 mile one in 2000. Everything in the car still works they way it did when new. There are a few signs of age though, there is a crack in the windshield, but on the passenger side, so it doesn’t bother us too much. There are a few door dings, but repairable. There is one spot on the roof that is fading (I don’t know why), the front spoiler is cracked from a steep driveway, and also there are some scratches on the front bumper. The car is mechanically in excellent condition and looks great too. The interior has no signs of wear and is clean. Smogged for semi-annual inspection last month, sticker good till next august.
I have kept meticulous records and have all receipts from day one. All required maintaince performed myself or by dealer. Timing belt replaced around 50,000. I also have the stock exhaust and suspension.
Overall this car has been very well maintained by a VW enthusiast, and is in excellent condition, and exceptionally clean.
