Well I finally got a chance to get my Weitec Cup kit in this weekend. Initial impressions were that it looked nice. But then again, they are just shocks and struts, pretty hard to screw these up. One thing I noticed and was concerned over was the struts didn't want to stay extended. I called Greg(^20) who called Rapid. They said long as there is resistance extending and compressing the strut its fine. There was, so I said f' it. After a few extensions it'd finally stay extended.
My previous setup was: Monroe Sensitrac Struts (LOL) and H&R springs in the front. H&R springs rear with my only guess is OEM (140k mile) shocks. When comparing the springs side by side, the H&R's are about 1/2 coil shorter, but thicker OD. Here are the specs:
H&R's: 14.45mm wire thickness
Weitec: 13.91mm wire thickness

Before ride height:
F R
13" 12.5" (from center cap to wheel well)
7.5" 8" (from sideskirt to ground)
Install impressions:
Everything fit extremely well, everything went in as it should.
Weitec Ride height:
F R
13" 13" (from center cap to wheel well)
7.5" 8" (side skirt to ground)
Now, when I took these measurements, I LITTERALLY just dropped the car off the stands and measured. I'd expect them to settle a bit lower (already looks like it has)
Driving impressions:
Before: The car handled pretty decent, but dove hard under braking and had serious rubbing issues going over hard bumps (borderline jumps) on the freeway. Was getting dangerous imo.
After: WOW! All the rubbing under bumping is gone and the ride is 100x smoother. No, 10000x smoother. I threw four guys in the car (Alex/yangotang being one of them) and just flogged it. Car stayed balanced and well manered the entire time. I litterally just sawed the wheel as back and forth as hard as I could and it just did what I wanted. I'd do these again in a heartbeat. I honeslty can't believe how smooth the car drives now, it honestly doesn't feel like a lowered car any more!

(sorry for the horrible picture)
Anyone intrested, do it. If you already have springs, but not shocks, sell them. Get the full kit
