Where Did "Edit" Go?

I don't like that function :confused:

For one, if a picture thread starts getting a lot of red "x"s due to old hotlinks, we can't edit them out keeping the thread looking good :(

Apparently it's been this way for a while. I don't mind it, but it is the only BB I frequent that has an edit rule like that. *shrug*

i think it's been changed to 60 minutes ;) which is plenty of time to edit a topic if you messed up

That is better...but that doesn't really solve the old hotlinking x's mentioned above. Maybe that will lye in the hands of the moderator of the specific forum to edit those out...?

i dont like it at all, on other forums i use it when i have things to sell. you dont have to go all the way to the last post to say the *insert item for sale here* has been sold. when the edit is enabled you could edit that info in your first post so others know as soon as they enter the post.

just my $0.02 so dont get too buthurt over it
