Rob and I went to the Wild Animal Park yesterday and Rob snapped some fun pics of the "local" wildlife. His camera rocks...

HAHA! those are pretty cool.. we were supposed to hit up the park on sunday but we got busy with a bunch of stuff like the harbor cruise.. plus we thought it would be more fun with my little nephews when we bring them to seaworld in a few weeks.. free tickets for us military folk!! haha gotta love it :tup:

Yeah, we're zoological society members, so we go to the park and the zoo whenever we are bored or there are relatives in town. It's really cool at the park because the animals aren't all caged up like at the zoo (well some of them are, but not all of them). And night time at the park/zoo starts next month, so you'll be able to see all the ncctrl :) animals. I'm looking forward to that because the cats are NEVER out during the day...

yeah, you guys with the better cameras would love it. i had to rely on the fact that mine is 8 megapixel and when set on the highest res, i may not have the zoom, but i can still get a pretty good image out after the fact! the one's from the train were tough since you are far away and moving at 20mph.

how much does it cost to get in to places like those anyway? haven't been to the WAP or Zoo since I was a kid.
Hopefully not nearly as much as legoland :rolleyes:

Um, I'm not sure... but our yearly memberships are only like $70 for the two of us... so the daily passes can't be much.
