Have any of you fellow Audi owners had a experience with "goodwill" repairs by the dealer or factory assistance. My S4 has about 47k on it and the warranty expired on 4/8/05. I'm having tranny problems(6 speed).....again. The whole thing was replaced at 15K. Any input, experiences, or ideas would be helpful. I have owned it since new.
Thanks everyone,

Thanks everyone,

I had the stock turbos go out when the car was within 12 months/12k miles out of warranty. There's some lil loop hole you can push with Audi through a "cooperative" dealer. Me personally, I'd start pitchin' a fit till they fix it, especially if they replaced it once already!

I agree but was hoping for a nice resolution; being an angry customer works pretty good as well!

turbos can be considered a "emissions component" which would fall as 7/70 warranty?

I believe so.

I'm with Julie, I think your best bet is to find a dealer that'll be on your side.

Thanks everyone,

I work in a Service Department - not VW
What the dealer is looking for is a "Good" customer.
If you get most of your services done there, it's a no brainer.

(they can use their Goodwill at their discretion)

Good Luck!

I bought the car at Metro and tried to ba a good customer but they are horrible!
I have been taking the S to Hoehn and they are great; I just don't have a long service history w/them. I'll just give it a shot.....any help is better than none.
Thanks for all the input.
