Hey guys, I'm looking to get an intake for my 2004 1.8t GTI.. Any suggestions? I really don't know much about european cars so looking for some feedback. Thanks

some pvc pipe and a filter there all virtually the same a filter on a stick

I have an aem for sale (like the one above, but polished and more beat up) for $40 without a filter (you can pick one up for cheap). If you're interested, send me a PM.

ebay, $40! ;)

i spent the last few months researching all the different types of intakes as well as reading up on the eurotuner test on like 6 or 7 different brands.. outcome? difference of maybe 2-3hp and a helluva lot more expensive than the cheap ones on ebay.. its nice to tell someone you have a so-and-so intake, hey if i had the money i probably would buy a nice brand name one too but all in all it comes down to a name and not hp... i'm getting my cheap-o ebay pipe next week and i'll give up some feedback.. ;)

just make sure it comes with a CARB sticker on it. i bought my AEM back in 2002 when i got the car, the AEM intake was CARB pending. passed finally, faxed over my reciept to AEM and i got a CARB legal sticker in the mail. if not when you go in for smog, your gonna have pull the intake and put the stock box back on. good luck! btw, need to update my pic...
