can't give any input (2.0), but what exactly is it?

I saw that thread and gave it a quick glance, but paid little mind as apparently its only valid for VR6s ... hmm, is the 2.0 better than the VR6 for once? :D

ive done it ...throttle bodie runs considerbly cooler but i dont think you will really notice a power increase unless its cold outside, or you are on a dyno where you can read actual numbers

yea i didnt think it was going to be a wow in the HP or torque dept. but did your throttle response change at all?

and what did you plug the throttle body with im thinkin of cutting a small piece of tubing and pluging it into itself. just so there isnt anything open.

You can go to the hardware store and get some rubber caps and use some clamps too.

So if there is no gain in HP or throttle response, what is the purpose of this mod???

there was some better throttle response espically if you are on a long drive i noticed i had a bit more than you normally would (higher under hood temp conditions) this is probably one of those 2-3 HP mods that people do just to get that lil extra out of their car for cheap

it keeps the air cooler. the hot coolant is recirculated through the TB which heats it all up

perfect thats all i wanted was a lil more throttle response.

and im glad to hear you still notice under long hot drives usually by the end of a julean run she a lil slugish. but considering the all day hard drive.

plus its allways fun to goose it when someones taken a drink and watch them spill on them selves. :ha:

have you done it and if so was the 10 min project worth it.
