ouch livin outside the NO huh? I'm sorry. It usually amounts to drinkin and doin someones cousin (male or female depending on how much of the white lightening you've had.

Hate to say this but when in Rome......trade the GTI for a chevy truck, buy a boat, hit up bass lake (a friend of mine's parents run the lodge) or Pineflats.

Definitely do this though.............take the GTI (before trade-in on said chevy) up to Sequoia to go camping. fill up with gas BEFORE you head into the mountains. Enter Sequoia park and drive all the way back like 30-40 miles of canyon road untill roads end. Camp in sheep creek, first come, first serve, but if you get there late thursday early friday you will be fine. i go every year. There is hiking, caves, river for swimming (snow melt is COLD). there is a little store for beer and a little restraunt for food 3 min from camp. (only store in 40 miles so pack what you don't want to pay double for.

Camping GTG anyone? that would be fun to take over an entire group of campsites with Dub's BBQ's and kegs! Maybe Dana point beach?

A word of advice from a former prisoner of B-town.......leave. My dad moved up there when I was a sophmore, I went to Stockdale high. soon as I was 18, I moved back to SoCal didn't even finish my senior year there. havent looked back since. Plus you would get to go to more GTG's and live where it isn't a dust bowl. Your GLI isn't black is it?

Mike, i went up to hume lake today and did some fishing...it was kewl, the drive was better than fishing...i wish i had mjy old high-performance tires again cuz i could have been taking those turns alot faster, but regardless, 45-65mph on balding $30 pep-boy tires is fun....i screetched the whole way down...it was a great drive...im definately down for a camping trip sometime...oh, and i have an 84' chevy s-10 blazer 4x4, im gonna put a 5" suspension lift on it soon, and i also wanna get a sea-doo for some of the lakes out here.

Tommy - PM me ur number and we can chill sometime...do u snowboard at all? im gonna go up to mammoth on friday and hopefully again next weekend....hit me up!
