sparco shift knobs

my stock shifter boot is ripping and i want a new shift knob anyways. im looking at the sparco globe-x or the sparco x-speed. anyone know which would fit better or if either would even fit in my 03 gti? also, what kind of boot should i or do i need to get for it?

i think i could help you out ive got sparco and momo knobs avaible in my shop and i have a R-speed one in stock (polished) you could look at .....so long as the shaft of the stick shift fits the knob it should work
