I might be wrong but I think this happened in Vegas about a year ago. I remember reading something about a company claiming that they had Some fast ass car and before it could top out it blew a tire. I'm not to sure if it is this one because it looks like it was pretty much topped out.

But the car looks like the one I'm talking about.:confused:

Yeah, this happened a while ago, I remember hearing about it last year I think .. the JUN 350Z, driver was some famous Japanese driver/racer. Can't believe he walked away!

I don't remember the story, but certainly doesn't sound like his tire blew? He keeps the car perfectly straight when it sounds like the engine breaks ... can't remember what the problem was though. But if you blow a tire @ 300 kph I'd think you'd make a b-line for the desert immediately.

$150k twin turbo 600+hp. this story was in euro tuner or european car about a year ago.. it was a blown tire.

1km = .62 mile

300km x .62 = 186

it's my goal to run that race btw.
