Hi All, I know I haven't posted in forever but I just wanted to let you all know about this site. I'm sure this has been brought up before but it never hurts to mention it again. There are so many of our soldiers that are not getting any letters, cards, or care packages. My nephew is over in Iraq and he said he kind of feels bad when he gets things and the others around him get nothing so he shares. I told him I would let everyone know about the site and try to push for more people to get involved. It's the least we can do, these guys/girls are defending our country. If you want to help out, just go to the site and find someone that never gets anything and send letters, cards or boxes. :)

That's awesome!!!! It is a great site. I have been in touch with the owner of the site to let him know how I'm trying to spread the word about the site. I have several boxes ready to ship out now. I sure hope more people get involved in this. I have posted this on many sites. If you know of any other site to post this on, please do so. If any of you have magazines that you have already read and no longer want or any other items and you don't want to shop for everything PM me and we can make arrangements for you to ship the magazines to me. I live in Florida so I'm not sure if the shipping would be alot or not. It's up to you. Just let me know or like I said in my first post, just visit the site and choose your own.

That's true, I go to the Post Office and they supply me with flat rate bloxes, as much as you can fit, you can send, doesnt' matter the weight. They will give you the shipping labels and the custom form that you will need to fill out.

Flatrate envelopes work just fine as APO and FPO boxes are considered inside the US even though they're desinations are world wide. Its one way the Govt helps families keep in touch easier with their loved ones.
Takes about a week, or up to 2 to get to them sometimes though. So don't expect priority mail delivery times :)

Sergeant Brian Horn from LaPlata, Maryland, an Army Infantry Soldier with the 173rd Airborne Brigade was in the Kirkuk area of Iraq when he started the idea of Any Soldier to help care for his soldiers. He agreed to distribute packages, that came to him with "Attn: Any Soldier" in the address, to the soldiers who were not getting mail.
As the son of an original Sky Soldier (Member of the 173D ABN), and a long time resident of Waldorf MD (5 miles north of La Plata), and as a webmaster who's done pro-soldier support and information sites before for the 173D society ... I know where my first package is going to.
Awesome.
