Well, it was somewhat painful 'cause this finalizes the impending sale of my beloved Stage III '00 S4 :(
Anyways, I flew to Boise yesterday and picked up the new daily driver/project car. I will keep the car intact for at least a year and then most likely rip the motor out and transplant it into our Coupe our our UrQ.
Pros-
Car is one owner from San Diego to Boise.
Garage parked 90%
All service records (even got the original window sticker for 42,000! )
Engine well cared for and unmolested (well, until I got it, heh)
Price was very good.
Cons-
Non-enthusiast owner= some serious scracting of the paint or (hopefully) just the clear coat all over the car pretty much.
Had to have the flight from hell to get the damn thing!
Car is the darkest blue Audi ever made.
Anyways, no "post worthless without pics" 'cause y'all know how challenged I am at getting pics up. I'll get them as soon as I can.
It drives smooth and is seriously comfy! I was pleasantly surprised at the highway cruising!
It weighs about the same as a B5 A4 and stock has 217hp, not bad.
Anyways,
I am gonna go rest/sleep!

heh, didn't have to shoot anybody this time. Did have to wait an extra 2 1/2 hours for my bag 'cause it didn't make the flight
Sorry, car is a '91 200 20v Turbo Quattro= sleeper ;)
Trip- drive was great. I hit a total of 5 states in 1 1/2 days! Since I was in the "get home quick" mode (our son had his first belt test in Kajukenbo today, so I had to be back last night!) I didn't get to stop and see some of the sites. I will say that Boise is nice! Also, Cedar City in Utah was nice and of course driving thru Virgin River Gorge was cool!

Well, the "why" is under the hood ;) The 20v Turbo is extremely tuneable :D
And we already have 2 hard to find Audis, so why not another!!
Actually, I can't even remeber which site I found it on. I was doing a ton of used car searching on the web and just came across this listing, got lucky I think.
So hopefully in some months I'll be crushing lightly modded S4's and the like :p

I will post pics asap, but it ain't much to look at. The 200 is a very generic looking 4-door sedan. I hope to get suspension put on in a week or two along with exhaust and a borrowed chip for now.
