Usually I wouldn't ask such a general question in fear of getting reamed, but after searching and searching and searching, I really can't find what I want/need in a suspension setup. It's easy to understand engine components when there's a clear stance on how well they perform, but there's soooo many suspension options/combinations that it makes my head hurt after a while.

Anyway, after looking around, I've decided that I don't want to go any lower than an 1.5" and I'd like dampening adjustability. A good shock/spring combo could be good, but I can't find any that have the spring rate (400lb front/350lb rear, approximately) at the height level I want. I've already purchased an O-Bar rear sway (think Shine RSB) and have never auto-x'd, but would definitely like to in the future. I've come to the conclusion (from what I've read) that Bilstein PSS9's have good performance without being super rough on the street. Any opinions or suggestions?

It doesn't hurt that I have a line on a mildly used set for $900...

Thanks.

I love the PSS9's. I have them installed on my dub and man my car feels like a million dollars. It handles WELL, I can adjust the stiffness and lifts however I want to. The only thing I can say is GO FOR IT!

you can't beat the PSS9, although i have no personal experience due to them still being in a box in my storage unit waiting to get installed. alot of my friends cars have them and they ride awesome, way better than my weitecs

and you're getting yours for 500 less than i got mine for
