This is a question from Spy Eng.

He's trying to get 19x8 ET45 on a MK3 with 215/35/19

will it work?

there are MkIIs with 19s, so it could work, it all depends on how much fender work he wants to do.

here is a MkII on 19's

in 19" what offset is cool 38-42ish?

we do tons of wheel & tire packages, however, this would be the first for this car (MKIII)

you would have to do fender modifications because i could barely fit 18s w/ 215p35r18 or something like that....you would definately need some flared out fenders for it to work out....i have 17s on mine right now w. 205s....it just needs some sport or race springs now

so i guess the question isn't wether it's possible (anything's possible with enough talent OR money)....but, rather, WHY WOULD YOU?

Exactly! I find that 40 series tires on 17's is rough enough............I'd hate to experience 19's.

I have 225/40/18 and it is a bit rough, but its also got the lowered sport suspension, so take that into account also

yeah, my 17s w/ 205s on my mk3 rides rough....im hopeing that some sport springs and new shocks/struts may help out a bit
