I am wondering if my number was blocked? I call the number from my cell and it is busy. I call it from work and it rings. I call it from my cell and busy. My friend calls it from his cell and it rings. Is it possible that my number is blocked from this paticular business?

Possibly. Any reason it would be blocked?

It wouldn't be very professional of them to do so but its within their right to do so.

Kinda sucks after reading your other thread about them. They aren't making themselves look very good if they did block the number.

Unfortunatly I agree. I still do not know if my number is truly blocked or not but it does seem like it. I have called Cingular and there is nothing wrong with my phone. So????

If this is the case. ????? I don't even know? For a business to go out of it's way to ignore a past customer? I just don't want to beleive it. :wtf:

have you tried to make it so that your phone does not send its own number when you call?
ive always wondered if that would make it work.

hmmm...

if they are blocking it, then just block your own number before you dial. its star-something-or-other. i'm sure you can look it up. they wouldn't be blocking all unknown numbers. if you get through like that, then more than likely, they are blocking your cell number.

my parents have a thing on their house phone that if the caller doesn't provide a phone number or a transferred number (i.e. some businesses have one phone number that will show up on someone's caller id when you call from like a set of 50 phones) then it is blocked or else they go through this "identify yourself and your company recording" they might have something like that.. you can call an operator and they should be able to tell you though ;)

I beleive the question was only asked once. If you actually read the whole thread you would know this.

Oh yeah ... and you can tell he's excited when you only have to use a magnifying glass to see it instead of a microscope ...
