I thought chop shops usually steal the parts... not the unibody.

Must have been amatuers.

After poking around the website, they get body parts from the manufacturer dissassembly plant. Whatever that is.

I was interested in the mk3 synchro's with no motor for $6500. That's a killer project waiting to happen.

not trying to downtalk the site.. cause he has some awesome products in there but what's up with the $16,000 mkII??? is it really worth that much.. it looks and sounds like a bada$$ car but 16k is a little steep for my tastes.. anyone have any info on that car??? other than what is posted on the classifed ad??

It's a Rallye Golf. They're very rare. All wheel drive and a supercharged G60 motor. Those headlights alone are worth $1600.

its over priced, buy a plane ticket and save lots of money, $6,500 for a MK3 syncro? Dont think so, you can get a rolling shell out of a canadian junkyard for $1000 give or take and another$800-$1000 for shipping. Those audi interiors probably came out of pre production cars headed for the scraper. I'm not saying dont try and make a buck, thats american, but dont over price stuff. I'm sure I could order all the NEW parts for a syncro swap for that price, tank, floor, rearend components. Just beacuse they were never here, they made plenty in the rest of the world.

Obviously, I've been shopping in the wrong places. :p

More likely, it's my memory that's failed me......again.
