If anyone is looking for a good set of angel eyes (black or diamond) check out Kensu903 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4559571491&category=6755) on ebay. He's selling them for 255 a pair (includes shipping). To get a look at them check out the pic for the 6/29 fusion gtg. My car is in the front of the line of golfs with the black set.

Yesterday I put these lights in my car with allenkm and we ran into a little trouble. First off, the housing for the turn signals are different as the new one requires a round bulb that apparently is hard to find and the socket appears to be poorly made. In order to use the old socket with the new lights you can either do one of two things; first just plug it up the way it is and it will 'work' but the turn signals will blink really fast. The second way, which I did is to take the connector that plugs into the turn signal housing and looks like this:
___________
|..................|
| |=| |=| |x| | (the wires are on the left and in the center)
\__________/
and remove the center wire and put it in the blank spot on the right side so that it looks like this:
___________
|..................|
| |=| |x| |=| | (the wires are on the left and on the right)
\__________/
Everything plugs up the way that it should and you won't have any problems with the turn signals or 4-ways, however...
The one problem that I did encounter is that now when I unlock or lock the car/hatch, the lights no longer flash at me, I checked all the light related fuses and they seem fine, does anyone know what might be causing this? the only thing that comes to mind is that it's either A) another fuse that isn't related to the lights directly but controls the blinking when you lock it or B) something I haven't thought of yet, lol.
Anyway, any help that someone can provide would be great, it's not that big of a deal to not have the lights blink, it's not knowing why that does it for me.

Update: Fuses weren't the problem, I checked every last one of them... still searching for ideas.:confused: Hopefully sleeping on it tonight will help.
