Our next blockbuster auction of rare Hollywood memorabilia is scheduled for

Friday, July 29, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. (Pacific Daylight Time)

and will be held live at our Beverly Hills offices and gallery.

original Star Wars artifacts from the collection of Star Wars producer Gary Kurtz! Over 85 items from his personal collection will be offered!

An electronic version will also be available for download on our website, in Portable Document Format (PDF). And of course, Internet bidding will be offered online through eBay Live Auctions.

Sale highlights include:

• Darth Vader’s lightsaber from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, from the collection of producer Gary Kurtz

• Luke’s lightsaber from the original Star Wars film, from the collection of producer Gary Kurtz

• Luke Skywalker’s special-effects prosthetic hand from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, used in the climactic fight scene when Darth Vader severs Luke’s arm and reveals “I am your father!”

• Original latex "Yoda" facial skin appliance created for use in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, accompanied with numerous sketches and schematics of "Yoda" by creator Stuart Freeborn, along with letter of authenticity.

• Original partial mask of "Chewbacca" created by Stuart Freeborn for the original Star Wars trilogy, accompanied with the original plaster hair-punching mold and letter of authenticity from Freeborn.

• Original production-used Taun-taun appliance from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back with letter of authenticity from Stuart Freeborn.
