TOTALLY sucks.
My boss is there RIGHT NOW, he just emailed that he's safe but it's pretty chaotic in London right now. ..... :(
Hopefully this is just a wake-up call and it won't recur around the world in those "copy cat" crimes...

A bright side, if you wish, is that the casualties number less than 50. This doesn't help the friends and family of the dead, of course, but the number is thankfully small.

There are some 40 dead and 700 injured and they are expecting the death toll to rise.

I e-mailed a friend that works there now and he confirmed that it is chaotic there and that the city is shut down because mass transit is such a key part of life there. He was trying to figure out how to get home when I last heard from him.

Nothing Britain hasn't experienced before, just from a different source now. still sucks though.

thats horrible, considering the circumstances, the casualties could have easily reached into the hundreds.

The extra security and "Threat level" raising here in the U.S. is a bunch B.S. the government has very little chance of stopping an actual attack once it gets to the phase of being carried out.
