Sucks to be him! Rule #1, always throw the pole back!!!

I have video of me vaulting when I broke the pole. Nice long fall to the bottom of the pit.


Nut shot has got to be the worst.

not the worst ever...i remember a while back ago when i was heavy into track and field a kid died somewhere in northern cali because the he was using the wrong size pole and it snapped, impaled him and well, the rest is history...

this video is exactly why they could never get me to pole vault in high school....thank god i stuck to the horizontal jumps....a lot less can go wrong there...
