View Full Version : TT Battery Died Today

No apparent reason. Came out of building to unlock it and nothing.

Then I went to unlock with the key and the door was already unlocked. Passenger side was still locked.

I figure when I went to lock it this morning the drivers side lock jammed and the solenoid on the door lock stayed on all day. I have to drive to my parents house in a bit and its been sitting for a few hours so we'll see if its still draining or not. What a pain in the ass!

At first I thought someone broke into it and I was laughing wondering if they tried to steal the stereo. Too bad, that might have been funny anf I would at least know why it decided not to start.

at least yer battery's in a normal place...

like the new mbz pacifica/r-class is under the front passanger seat...dealer book time to replace/remove is 10 hours labor because you have to remove the seat then dig through the car's electrical nerve center to get to the battery.

That is just lame. You know its because its based on a chrysler.

What other MBZ/Chryslers are there?

lol...according to the factory big-wigs @ the event, "[Mercedes Benz]] DOES NOT use chrysler products, THEY use our products"...heh, he threatened to fire me after i made a reference to the R-class and the Pacifica.

I found the problem... Lucky brake light switch number 2 needs to be replaced but they say the third switch is the charm.

I just need to swing by the dealer on monday to get one. Its like 5 mins to pop a new one in but damn its annoying.
