So the 90's been giving me some serious issues, and I recently (thursday) learned that I need new motor and tranny mounts, so I decided to move on...

I didn't think it would happen so soon, but today I picked up...

1999.5 A4 1.8tqms, silver on black leather, 72k miles and 2-year full-coverage (that's electrical and wear/tear as well), dealer-honored warranty for $13900 after tax, license, etc etc etc.

I drove a 2000 earlier this week that had what felt like a squishy clutch and a turbo that choked above 5000rpm...

This one had a strong clutch and serious pull all the way to redline! It felt much quicker, so is it possible that it's already chipped? I got it from a dealer, so he didn't know. Alignment's good, good tread left on the Dunlops...

she's got a few scrapes on the rear bumper and side from stupid PO, but whatever -- no dents and no body work needed, just a nice detail.

Only bummer is that it doesn't have a sunroof, but I'll get over it, even in SD.

Pics coming this week... they gotta ship it down to SD for me, as I bought it up in Marin.

a motor and tranny mounts isn't a big deal, hell two hours of work and you coulda had new ones installed....but congrats on the new car....with any luck i'll be rolling something new in a few months (shut up Paul...LOL)

Well, don't forget the $300 in parts!... and it's also still got an exhaust leak, unknown fluid leaks (I think PS fluid at a clamp and some oil from a drain plug that's not cooperating any more). It's also in need of new rear shocks, the sway bar's off and won't go back on, and it's going to need the timing belt done soon too... so if i'm going to do a TB, might as well do it on a new(er) car :)
