The GF's going to be giving up her 2002 Cabrio GLX for a 2001 or newer 1.8T auto GTI... what kinds of things should we be looking for?

yeah yeah, she doesn't like driving a stick in a commute, and is used to the tip from her old 2.8 A4

these things aren't my specialty, but I know they're yours!

is it realistic to pick one up w/ relatively low miles and a warranty for under $14k?

the other option is just to get a golf w/ the 1.8t tip, but those seem nearly impossible to find!

thanks guys!

I saw a few Gti's a couple were 1.8T at Capo VW. That is where I bought My Jetta. I got really great service there. If you ask Nick Colucci (he's in FInance now) for a salesperson he'd recommend then you won't get any stories. Under 14K should be very achievable w/ less than 50K mi for sure.
