View Full Version : Wheel killing pothole warning. SD (Miramar Road and the 805)

In the far left lane heading west there is a patch of re-paved road.
There are two sections that are horrible and have been reported to the city. But watch out!!!!

Here is a pic of the pothole!

Holly mother of... With all the trucks that travel that section it's just a matter of time before that pipe gets busted. I've been on offroad excursions that aren't as bad as the hole.

Just wanted to update this post with good news.
I recieved a check $225 from the city for the repair of the wheel.

Mailed the claim on 9-29-05
Recieved check on 11-28- 05

2 months. Not bad.

I lost a wheel to a monster of a pothole in Pt Loma off of Shelter Island Dr earlier this year. Think I'm gonna mail the City also.

Just an FYI

I sent a ton of pictures, as well as a CD of the pictures.
An estimate from a wheel repair shop.
A detailed letter with timeline of what happend, where, at what time, etc.

Make copies of everything.

There are forms you get from the city, you will need those as well.
