I sincerely doubt they'd be willing to budge on a comptetion package M3. Even a regular M3 is not so negotiable I don't think...

Ditto what Sahand and Oula said- there just isn't that much room to play. Maybe it was possible to score a deal in the past, but the truth it they're not making the E46 M3 much longer; and because they are already in such limited production, I don't think any dealer could let one go at your ideal price because there are plenty of people willing to pay sticker for a future classic. How about an E90? They have as much horsepower as the E36 M3.

I hate to ask, but what the Hell do you need HEATED seats for in SOCAL?????????????????
I used to live in New England and there they are good, but here??????
Even on the coldest night your ass can't get that cold.

:D Oh but you'd be surprised by how many people "need" heated seats down here. After all, it's their car, isn't it? Let them pay.

LOL, guess you've never had them! Even though my Cars are garaged, my last Passat had Heated seats. On colder mornings (it does get into the 40's now and then you know...not much freezing but crsip!) it was very nice to have a warm back when I drove to work. I wish my M3 had them.....it was built just a few months too early. Not a required accessory, but a nice one have nonetheless.....
