It just means there were no new posts since you last visited. If you go to the home page and see "New Posts: 0" then that's the message you'll get when clicking on it.

Thats because there are no new posts since the last time you searched for them. You already read them.

It remembers what you've read and then only returns things you haven't read more than a few minutes ago.
