i surprised myself when thursday i talked my grandpa into a car. its not euro but parts of it are. Thursday was my day off and i wanted to check out the new Chrysler 300c. i told my grandpa i know a car he might like, we checked it out and he liked it, but he didnt show too much interest. he was saying that its nice not to have a car payment and yada yada yada. we got home and he said check out the credit unions auto loan rates, we then went to a site to "build our own." at first he didnt want much as far as options go. So the next morning he went to another dealership to go test drive without me, this time the car was fully loaded, but it was in a color he did not like, so that night i called looking for a dealership without markups, since everyone had a $5000 markup, i found a dealership in san juan capistrano, so friday night we drove down. as i was driving he was saying that he test drove one that morning, but he didnt like the color, be he wanted all the options, navigaton, satelite radio, etc. So we get to the dealer and they had one, it was real nice, color was beautiful, navigation, but no sirus radio, my grandpa was a little iffy on the light color interior. so he decided to come the next morning with my grandma and if it was still there and she liked it they would buy that one, otherwise place an order. 12.45 i got a message saying i was to drive the new car home. all i have to say is dayum. there is so much to this car its amazing, uv tinted windows, the hemi switches to 4 and 6 cylinders to save gas, personal settings in the message center, mercedes 5 link rear suspension and tranny from the E class, sirus radio was ordered for us, and sooo much more i still need to figure out. anyways its an eye catcher, and fun to drive and just cruise PCH. i got a few pics below.

The company is called DaimlerChrysler, the majority of the board is European, and the chairman is European. You do the math.

Eh, it's a little too "grandpa-ish" for me, but I wouldn't mind getting one the next time I go to Hertz.

i think the car is pretty darn nice for what it is
only 2 downfalls in my opinion
the rear end is a lil plain ... and the wheels
but besides that ... the car looks good inside and front and sides ... and the motor is beefy
great car for a person just wants to drive
good pick !

I looked at that car before I got the Audi. Felt a little too grown up for me. But the look is pure pimpin!!!

My Dad got one of those and they are pretty sick. He chose that over a CTS. I think they look like a Bentley... and you get a lot for your money... if you're into that sort of thing...

i doubt it, drove both mercedes', it drives a lot better and tranny feels 20x's better that the old e-class
I would sport a black one with black centered HRE's and a throaty exhaust around the hood

Do you have a cite for this?
Are you talking modern or muscle car era?
I was under the impression that most modern engines are pentroof.

Also, as I'm sure you know, the new Hemi isn't technically a "hemi". =)
