zipcode 91301.
anyone around me who has an aftermarket exhaust that I can come check out and hear in person? Preferably if you drive a B5 Audi A4 1.8T, but just to get a feel of different brands would be awesome on almost any euro :D.
right now i am looking at:
borla exhaust (turbo-back)
milltek exhaust (turbo-back)
apr exhaust (turbo-back)
i already know from researching HOURS upon HOURS that milltek and apr are universally considered the quitest, most stock-like, and higher performance exhausts out there for my car. however, they do not come without a higher price tag.
the borla, on the other hand, is a few hundred dollars chepaer, give equivalent performance, but is a little louder. how much louder? i don't know. i haven't been able to find a buddy in socal to get a up close and personal audi test .
off the top of my head of those that i can remember, ive rated some exhausts for my car:
LOUD
neuspeed
greddy g2
MEDIUM
borla
lltek
brullen
QUIET
apr
milltek
keep in mind that the stock exhaust will almost ALWAYS be the quietest.
