So, my weekend was spent in Louisiana at a "bachelor party" of sorts. Basically, lots of drinking and smoking. The most dangerous parts are the live alligators on campus at arm's length and the that category 5 thing called Katrina.
I barely got out of the state yesterday. That thing's going to wreck N.O.... It already tore off part of the Superdome's roof where thousands of people were sheltered. Enough of the roof was torn off to allow sunlight to come through (about 1/12th). I've been through a category 2 and 3, and those were scary enough. A category 5 is the one everyone in Louisiana has been fearing.
I hope everyone who lives in that area got out (my dad included, who hasn't called me back yet :( ).
